About the Course:
Learn at your own pace and develop your pulse diagnosis understanding with Certified Shen-Hammer Lineage Instructors Tracy Soltesz and Ryan Diener in this four-part virtual on-demand lecture.
This 16 hour course will: Introduce students to the foundational concepts of pulse diagnosis – the “Hallmark of Chinese Medicine Diagnosis” – and showcase the the Shen-Hammer Contemporary Chinese Pulse Diagnosis (CCPD) lineage.
Through the understanding of detailed terminology and subtle skills of differentiation, pulse diagnosis can accurately show the practitioner past and current health trends within the patient thus supporting the ability to craft a comprehensive treatment plan for long-lasting treatment results. Pulse is both stable over time and yet it changes more rapidly than other diagnostic methods such as tongue, giving the practitioner immediate feedback as treatment is delivered to the patient.
This is also great refresher classes for continuing pulse students to deepen their understanding of the intricacies and the subtleties of pulse terminology.
Lectures are broken into 4-hour recordings that focus on:
- History of Pulse Diagnosis and Systems Comparisons, The Whole Pulse, and Large Segments;
- Common Qualities of Shen-Hammer Contemporary Chinese Pulse Diagnosis;
- The Principle and Complementary Positions of Contemporary Chinese Pulse Diagnosis; and
- Putting it all Together: How to Interpret Findings and Create Treatment Strategies
