With campuses located in Bradenton and Gainesville, Florida, Dragon Rises College of Oriental Medicine (DRCOM) was founded by Dr. Hammer and his senior students in 2001.

From its inception, the College was committed to teaching a contemporary form of Chinese medicine deeply rooted in generations of tradition. It is this medicine that has come to be known as the Shen-Hammer Tradition. Dr. Hammer developed the curriculum, which he taught alongside his senior students until his retirement. DRCOM is the only college in the world that teaches Shen-Hammer Pulse Diagnosis along with Dr. Hammer’s theories, concepts and methodologies in their entirety, including 165 hours of pulse diagnosis.
